Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC seeks a junior Operations Security Specialist to support OPSEC programs and protect sensitive information. You will assist with identifying vulnerabilities, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with government stakeholders to support security requirements.

Qualifications

• Less than three years of experience in security, military operations, intelligence, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of security principles and OPSEC concepts.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; effective written and verbal communication.
• Active IAT/IAM Level II certification required.
• Minimum Top Secret clearance with SAP/SAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support OPSEC activities to protect sensitive and mission-critical information.
• Identify critical information, vulnerabilities, and indicators that could be exploited by adversaries.
• Assist with security assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain OPSEC documentation, reports, plans, and program records.
• Monitor operational activities to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Support OPSEC awareness initiatives, training events, and programs.
• Research security guidance and assist with OPSEC controls and mitigations.
• Coordinate with security personnel, program teams, and government stakeholders.
• Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and corrective action tracking.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and administrative documentation for security operations.
• Identify risks and provide recommendations to senior personnel.

This role assists with the implementation of Operations Security (OPSEC) programs and supports security activities designed to identify vulnerabilities, reduce risk, and safeguard mission-critical operations. RESPONSIBILITIES

A Junior-Level Operations Security Specialist will be tasked with the following:

• Support OPSEC activities designed to protect sensitive and mission-critical information.
• Assist with identifying critical information, vulnerabilities, and potential indicators that could be exploited by adversaries.
• Support security assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Assist in maintaining OPSEC documentation, reports, plans, and program records.
• Monitor operational activities to help ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures.
• Support OPSEC awareness initiatives, training events, and educational programs.
• Research security guidance and assist with implementing OPSEC controls and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with security personnel, program teams, and government stakeholders to support operational security requirements.
• Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and corrective action tracking.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and administrative documentation supporting security operations.
• Help identify risks associated with operational activities and provide recommendations to senior personnel.

• Less than three (3) years of experience supporting security, military operations, intelligence, compliance, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of security principles and operational security concepts.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Ability to work under the direction of senior security professionals.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification. (i.e. Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, CASP+/SecurityX, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCNP Security, CCSP, etc.)
• A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher with SAP/SAR eligibility is required to be considered for this position.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university (OR) an Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted.
