Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of experience in law enforcement activities, security operations, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel as determined by the business needs.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
• United States Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• May assume duties of Security Manager when Manager is absent.
• Prepare and implement security policies and procedures; conduct investigations of incidents.
• Plan and coordinate access controls for restricted records or areas.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training and education.
• Conduct security audits, surveys, and special studies; revise orders as needed.
• Coordinate with DOE to obtain rulings and interpretations.
• Represent the team in meetings with management.
• Advise on policies and procedures to support objectives.
• Manage internal communications related to security information.
