Job summary

Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC at the KCNSC in Kansas City, MO seeks a Cyber Security Analyst II to develop and administer cyber security programs for classified materials and systems. You will ensure compliance with DOE orders and internal policies, and interact with NNSA/DOE leadership.

The role involves audits, awareness training, and coordination with DOE to obtain rulings. On-call availability and travel up to 25% may be required to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cyber security, CS, CE, IS, or 2 additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Two years experience in a cyber security environment.
• On-call availability after hours may be required.
• Travel up to 25%.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• On-site work as directed by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to obtain DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cyber security policies and procedures.
• Coordinate access controls for restricted electronic records and areas.
• Plan and present cyber security awareness training and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Document Cyber Security, Telecommunications Security, and local procedures.
• Coordinate with DOE for rulings and compliance with regulations.
• Represent team in meetings with internal/external customers and support policy decisions.
• Develop and facilitate communications through information channels.
