Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Meet state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech equipment
• Effective communication skills
• Work both independently and with a team
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and assist with locating items or resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support teammates and assist peers when needed with a positive attitude
• Promote a physical security culture and maintain safe standards store-wide
• Respond to security incidents promptly and document accurately in case management system
• Utilize Target's video surveillance system to monitor activity and deter theft
• Prevent theft and shortages by checking merchandise during receipt and reporting trends
• Document incidents in the case management system per AP policy and procedures
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance in all actions
• Follow safety policies and report hazards; work safely at all times
• All other duties as needed to support business needs
