Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Promote a physical security culture and maintain safe standards store-wide.
• Respond to and document security incidents in a timely manner.
• Use Target's video surveillance system when required.
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and provide theft apprehension support per AP policies.
• Prevent theft by performing merchandise receipt checks and communicating trends.
• Submit documentation in the case management system for all incidents.
• Understand and use Target's video surveillance system.
• Operate safely following all policies and training.
