Job summary

Target is hiring a Security Specialist to help keep guests and team members safe. You will engage with guests, respond to incidents, and support loss prevention efforts in a fast-paced store environment. Flexible hours including nights and holidays are required.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, documentation in case management systems, and collaboration with store leadership while following AP policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with needs.
• Respond to and document security incidents; de-escalate issues and protect guests and team members.
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and support theft apprehension per AP policies.
• Maintain safe store operations and follow Target's video surveillance and case management processes.
