Target is hiring a Security Specialist in Phoenix to protect guests, team members and assets while delivering a safe shopping experience. You will utilize surveillance tech, respond to incidents, and support loss prevention with professional conduct.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical duties such as lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods. Training is provided for security procedures and customer-focused collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to communicate effectively using multiple devices.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming guest experience and assist guests with needs.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft zones; resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• Respond to security incidents and document them in the case management system.
• Operate Target's video surveillance system and enforce AP policies.
• Assist peers and maintain a safe, secure store environment.
• Conduct theft prevention and merchandise checks per AP policies.
