Job summary

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy in Springfield, MO, is hiring a Full-time Specialist, Physical Security. You will develop and implement security protocols, train teams, and coordinate emergency responses to safeguard associates, assets and facilities.

The role requires 1 year of security, law enforcement, military or related experience, knowledge of threat assessment and crisis management, and the ability to operate with integrity across shift-based work.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services or related field.
• Complete and pass all core components of the Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days of job entry date.
• CPR/BCLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of security protocols, programs, and training to enhance safety and compliance.
• Respond to emergency situations by initiating incident command and providing tactical security responses.
• Monitor and manage security systems including alarm, intrusion detection, and threat management.
• Investigate reported threats, policy violations, and security breaches to mitigate risks.
• Assess visitor threat levels and escort critical information and merchandise securely.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies, addressing violations and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment.
• Communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to changing conditions.
