Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Full-time Day Shift Specialist, Physical Security for its new Central Fill facility in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on developing security protocols, crisis management, and incident response to safeguard associates and assets while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, manage security systems, and drive continuous improvements in safety programs within a fast-evolving central fill environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services or related field.
• Will complete and pass Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days of job entry date and maintain them while employed.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of security protocols, programs, and training to enhance safety and compliance.
• Respond to emergency situations by initiating incident command and providing tactical security responses.
• Monitor and manage security systems including alarm, intrusion detection, and threat management.
• Investigate reported threats, policy violations, and security breaches to mitigate risks.
• Assess visitor threat levels and escort critical information and merchandise securely.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies, addressing violations and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment.
• Communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to changing conditions.
