Job summary

Wright-Patt Credit Union is hiring a Security Specialist. Our specialist will have access to a security vehicle and be flexible to travel to locations in Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati.

The primary role is to provide for the Safety and Security of all Personnel, Property, and Members within the Wright‑Patt Credit Union Market and to perform any additional duties assigned by the Security and Emergency Response Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security and Emergency Response Manager with assigned duties.
• Oversee maintenance of burglar alarm and fire paneling systems.
• Audit key control and TRAKA box installation projects.
• Prepare WPAFB quarterly unit emergency management and self‑assessment reports.
• Conduct member center physical security site inspections and risk assessments.
• Oversee video surveillance and CCTV program maintenance.
• Investigate criminal misconduct and implement emergency preparedness measures.
• Assist law enforcement with evidentiary requests.
• Ensure policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed.
• Report gaps to leadership to mitigate risk and protect members.
• Oversee and answer the WPCU Emergency Notification Phone (24/7).

The primary role of the Security Specialist is to provide for the Safety and Security of all Personnel, Property, and Members within the Wright‑Patt Credit Union Market and to perform any additional duties assigned by the Security and Emergency Response Manager.

Assist the Security and Emergency Response Manager with the following duties at his/her discretion:

• Burglar Alarm and Fire Paneling System Oversight/Maintenance. (15%)
• Key Control Auditing and TRAKA Box Installation Projects. (15%)
• WPAFB Quarterly Unit Emergency Management and Self‑Assessment Reports. (10%)
• Member Center Physical Security, Site Inspections and Risk Assessments. (10%)
• Video Surveillance and CCTV Program Oversight/Maintenance. (10%)
• Investigations of Criminal Misconduct and Emergency Preparedness Measures. (10%)
• Assisting Law Enforcement with evidentiary requests. (10%)
• Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated. (10%)
• Oversight and answering of the WPCU Emergency Notification Phone (24/7). (10%)
