Job summary

NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY in Arlington, VA seeks a Security Specialist to analyze, interpret, and implement SCI security policies across a broad range of disciplines.

The role involves conducting physical, technical, and industrial security inspections, applying SCI personnel security principles, managing SCI security databases, and developing training and briefings, while delivering high-quality results with strong written and verbal communication to stakeholders.

• Applying SCI personnel security principles and methods to process investigations and policy reviews.
• Managing and maintaining SCI personnel and physical security databases.
• Developing and administering SCI security training and briefings.
• Demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality products and services with commitment to continuous improvement.
• Effectively representing the organization to both internal and external customers with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Job description

You will serve as a GG-0080-13 Security Specialist at NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY in Arlington, VA, where you will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, recommending, and/or implementing the supplemental Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security policies of the Director of Naval Intelligence/Naval Intelligence Activity/Special Security Office for a wide range of security disciplines.

1. Conducting physical, technical, and industrial security inspections and effectively applying requirements for the protection of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) assets.
2. Applying SCI personnel security principles and methods to process investigations and policy reviews.
3. Managing and maintaining SCI personnel and physical security databases.
4. Developing and administering SCI security training and briefings.
