Job summary

505th Command and Control Wing in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Security Specialist to manage and enforce information security program compliance across operations. You will address operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects and work with enforcing personnel security rules.

The role requires interpreting AF/DoD regulations, representing Industrial Security, and administering Physical Security programs to protect classified access and contract performance.

Responsibilities

• Security program specialist enforcing compliance with operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of an information security program.
• Executes and enforces compliance with the organization's personnel security program; interprets AF, DoD, and national regulations and laws for Personnel Security processes as they apply and are implemented within the organization.
• Serves as the organization's representative for Industrial Security issues; maintains an in-depth knowledge of multiple customer missions to facilitate the protection of classified and SCI access as required by contract performance.
• Administers the Physical Security Program for the organization; advises commanders and involved parties on security facilities, equipment, alarm installation, maintenance, and use.

Job description

Salary: $90,479 - $117,625 per year

• Serves as the organization's representative for Industrial Security issues. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of multiple customer missions in order to facilitate the protection of classified and SCI access as required by contract performance.


• Administers the Physical Security Program for the organization. Uses comprehensive knowledge of the integrated organization's mission to advise commanders and or involved parties on security facilities/equipment/alarm installation, maintenance, and use.
