Job summary

Air Mobility Command in Fort Smith, Arkansas is seeking an information security program specialist responsible for executing/enforcing operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of the program. You will guide and train a mixed civilian/military workforce and serve as the wing's Information Security representative.

Key Responsibilities

Serves as information security program specialist executing/enforcing all operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of the program. Provides security guidance, training, and direction to a civilian and military work force at wing organizations and locations and serves as their wing representative for all related Information Security issues.

Responsible for providing assistance to the Industrial and Personnel Security Program Managers, as well as the IP Chief, to ensure the three-core information protection security disciplines of information, personnel, and industrial security are fully converged from a policy and programmatic viewpoint to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements.

Develops, with assistance of peer security specialists, Security Awareness and Education Programs to satisfy Security education and training requirements for all assigned organizations.
