About the Opportunity

A mid-sized software company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer. They are a software company which created and sells a network product called ITPie, which is a software tool that provides organizations with detailed insights and control over their IT networks, manages network-attached devices, visualizes network relationships, and generates actionable reports. Their product is used both in and outside the federal government, with one of the largest clients being the Department of Defense (specifically the US Army), and it is currently used on most domestic US Army bases.

Job Details

As a Sr. Security Engineer, you will be responsible for helping to create, evolve, document, and implement security development and deployment practices for a product that’s delivered both on-premises as well as to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Create, evolve, document, and implement security development and deployment practices.
• Assist the rest of the development team in implementing these security controls and practices as part of the software development process.
• Supply guidance and requirements for deploying our product on-premises.
• Create a secure environment for our upcoming cloud offering.

Qualifications

• Experience with C#/.NET and familiarity with JavaScript.
• Experience evaluating security best practices and applying them to processes and assets.
• Experience reviewing code and architecture to identify potential security issues.
• Experience writing internal documentation around security evaluations and decisions.
• Experience with security monitoring infrastructure (log analysis, web application firewalls).
• United States citizenship.
• 8+ years of experience.
