Job summary

Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Security Software Engineer to provide security engineering support for the Global Decision Support System (GDSS) in Illinois. The role focuses on securing AWS environments, compliance with STIGs, and enhancing secure development practices within CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in security operations, a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts to address quarterly STIGs issued by DISA and plans of action to reach compliance.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities in AWS environments.
• Monitor Nessus scan results and coordinate remediation.
• Monitor cloud security posture using AWS native tools and third-party solutions.
• Design, deploy, and manage encryption for data at rest and in transit in AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud security architecture and policies.
