Job Description

Allied Universal Security is hiring a Supervisor Security Officer to work at a Hospital in Palo Alto, CA!

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Shift: Swing / 2pm - 10pm / Monday - Friday

Requirements

• Active CA Guard Card license required
• Security experience of 2+ years
• Valid State Driver's License with a clean record
• Must have prior Supervisor experience for at least 1 year
• Must possess, or be able to obtain prior to assignment, Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate)

Responsibilities

The Security Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. They will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers. The supervisor will oversee site staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within their empowerment range.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws
• Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology and software
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Ability to interpret reports and enforce standards
• Participate in site safety programs and enforce policies
• Physical ability to work in various environments and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and stand/walk for long periods
