Job summary

Titan Security Group is seeking Security Shift Supervisors to support sites across the Detroit metro. You will manage security staff, perform patrols on foot and by vehicle, control access, monitor cameras, and respond to incidents to keep people and property safe.

Eligible candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, a HS diploma or GED, two years of supervisor experience, pass drug and background checks, and read/write English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid Driver's License.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of supervisor experience minimum.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Physical requirements including lifting up to 75 lbs and long patrols.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
• Conduct patrols on foot and by vehicle to identify security issues.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and patrol to prevent theft and maintain safety.
• Maintain clear logs about people or property, including packages.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and document details for management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Titan Security is currently hiring Security Shift Supervisors to work at various locations throughout the Detroit metro area.

Responsibilities of Security Shift Supervisors include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Shift Supervisors:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Have two years supervisor experience minimum
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• 1 year experience as a security officer
• Bilingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

Pay and Benefits for Security Officers:

• Up to $17.50 / hour, depending on experience, location and position
