Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor.

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deal professionally with all levels of personnel and the public; ability to use initiative and independent judgment within guidelines
• Ability to prepare neat, legible written reports and logs
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment
• Driving Positions: valid Driver’s License, at least one year of driving experience, clean driving record, insurance as required by company, and ability to operate a vehicle safely
• Successful completion of background check and drug/alcohol test; possibly a driver’s record check
• Intermediate computer skills for utilizing wireless technology
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in various environments and lift/carry up to 40 pounds occasionally, climb stairs/ramp/ladders, and stand/walk for long periods
