GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Durham, North Carolina. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and smooth access in office towers, hotels, and retail environments.

You will greet visitors, verify identities, monitor entrances, perform patrols, report incidents, and coordinate with emergency teams. The schedule includes weekend shifts with a 32-hour week and a split supervisor assignment.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Site Location: Durham, North Carolina
• This is Security split Supervisor position.
• Set schedule: Security Officer - Saturday - Sunday, 7:00am-3:00pm | Shift Supervisor - Monday-Tuesday 3:00pm-11:00pm = 32 hour shift

Responsibilities Of a Concierge Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications For Concierge Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
