GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer Patrol Supervisor to lead event security operations at our San Jose client sites. You will coordinate with the client’s event management team, site security, and GardaWorld supervisors to ensure seamless coverage.

You will oversee briefings, assign posts, monitor activity, and guide officers throughout shifts, while maintaining a professional, guest-focused environment.

Formación

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED proof required.
• Corporate security experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Valid California Driver's License required.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement background is advantageous.
• State security license and 32-hour BSIS trainings are preferred; further trainings can be completed during hiring.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary on-site contact for event security operations, coordinating directly with the client’s event management team, site security, and GardaWorld supervisors.
• Assist in pre-event briefings, ensuring all event officers understand their roles, post assignments, and escalation procedures.
• Provide leadership and direction to event officers throughout each shift, acting as a working lead who supports both the client and GardaWorld management.
• Monitor event activity, crowd flow, and access points to maintain a safe, professional environment.
• Report and elevate incidents promptly through radio or Pixel to GSOC or on-site command.
• Maintain strong guest relations and represent GardaWorld in a professional, service-oriented manner.
• Collaborate with tech campus departments and event organizers to anticipate needs and adjust security coverage in real time.
• Complete detailed incident reports, event recaps, and post-event debriefs.
• Support logistics such as post setup, equipment checks, and roster tracking.
• Ability to navigate campus maps and direct guests, vendors, or staff efficiently.

As a Security Officer Patrol Supervisor – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

  • (A) Saturday - Tuesday, 9:30pm - 6:00am
  • (B) Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Qualifications Of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Corporate security experience
• Must have 2 years of lead/supervisor experience
• Must have a valid California Driver's License
• First aid certification is an asset
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
