Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee the security department during assigned shifts, ensuring safety of guests, employees and property. You will supervise and instruct on shift, coordinate with other team members, and monitor day-to-day operations.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand/walk long shifts, and at least six months in casino security in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must meet requirements of a Security Officer.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
  • Other physical requirements include but are not limited to: lifting up to 100 lbs., reaching, kneeling, bending, and episodes of moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of casino security experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

  • Maintain shift schedule and delegate work assignments.
  • Review and approve all reports written during the shift.

  • Ensure officers maintain a high degree of professionalism by adhering to all lawsand regulations, and departmental and company rules, procedures, and policies.
  • Assist security officers with assigned duties when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
