Cache Creek Casino Resort is seeking a Security Shift Manager to supervise on-duty security and tribal public safety personnel, ensuring safety for guests, citizens, and employees. This role will oversee emergencies, investigations, and daily reporting while maintaining strict compliance with policies.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of casino security experience, plus firearm certification within six months of hire and ongoing training.
The Security Shift Manager supervises on‑duty security and tribal public safety personnel to ensure that the facility and tribal properties are safe for guests, citizens, and employees. Performs all administrative, investigative, training, and assorted functions of the position.
Directly supervise Security Supervisors, Tribal Public Safety Supervisors, Tribal Public Safety Officers, Security Officers and Dispatch personnel in the Security Department. Assumes supervisory responsibility for ERT Supervisors and ERT Officers in the absence of the ERT Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws to include training employees, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, and addressing complaints and disciplinary problems.

Bachelor’s degree; and three years’ experience or equivalent combination of casino security experience, tribal security experience, training experience, investigation experience, law enforcement experience, or event security experience. Internal applicants must be a current supervisor or manager of the Cache Creek Casino Resort Security Department.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one situations with guests and other employees. Ability to write detailed reports and provide court testimony when necessary. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to evaluate facts, determine alternative solutions to problems, evaluate courses of action, and make solid decisions.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess their own firearm. The Security department will provide a list of authorized firearms.

The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
