Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation seeks a Shift Manager to oversee the entire security function for their shift and supervise assigned Security positions. The role reports to the Director of Security and/or Security Manager, coordinating security activities daily.

Responsibilities include patrolling the property across nongaming areas, hotel, gaming, and outdoor spaces; investigating incidents, preparing comprehensive reports, and enforcing approved procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the security function for their shift and supervise assigned Security positions.
• Report all security matters to the Director of Security and/or Security Manager.
• Patrol the property including nongaming attractions, back of house, hotel, gaming and outdoor areas.
• Respond to major crimes, incidents, unusual occurrences and conduct investigations with reports.
• Administer disciplinary action when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
