Job summary

Apple Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineer to design and implement quality assurance for distributed security server applications.

You will work with software development and SRE teams to understand business logic, security aspects, and production environments, and to drive automation roadmaps. The ideal candidate has strong QE methodologies, experience with test automation and REST API testing, and a solid Unix/Linux background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3-8 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of creating effective test procedures and test cases
• Strong understanding of QE methodologies and SDLC best practices
• Experience in test automation frameworks like TestNG, JMeter, Selenium is a plus
• Knowledge of Data Driven Testing or Behavioural Driven Development test frameworks
• Solid grasp on REST API fundamentals, best practices and its testing concepts
• Skilled in Unix/Linux environments
• Good understanding of database technologies including relational and noSQL solutions
• Understanding of security concepts such as PKI, X.509, ASN.1, key exchange protocols, and authentication protocols
