Job summary

Allied Universal in Pooler, GA is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Screener to protect facilities for logistics and distribution clients. You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, and report security concerns, maintaining a visible, professional presence and delivering great customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted and will comply with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Screen personnel and items entering designated areas, documenting prohibited items or activity.
• Monitor access points and screening equipment to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols and report security-related observations.
