Colonial Security Services is seeking a dependable Part-Time Security Scheduler in Hillsborough, NJ. This role focuses on creating and maintaining officer schedules, filling open shifts, and communicating updates to staff and management to ensure full coverage across client sites.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with scheduling software such as TrackTik.

Qualifications

• Previous scheduling/dispatching experience preferred.
• Security industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with scheduling software (TrackTik is a plus).
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain schedules for security officers across multiple client sites.
• Fill open shifts by contacting officers and ensuring proper staffing coverage.
• Communicate schedule changes and updates to officers and management.
• Monitor attendance, call-offs, and late arrivals.
• Coordinate with Operations Managers to ensure posts are fully staffed.
• Maintain scheduling records and employee availability.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and clients.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Shifts Available: Mon-Fri 3pm-7pm
