Job description

About The Role

We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and technically credible Security Sales Director to lead and scale our cybersecurity presales and advisory practice. This is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for shaping complex cybersecurity pursuits, developing a high‑performing team of approximately 10 security specialists and architects, and helping enterprise clients modernize and mature their security posture through outcome‑driven transformation initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity strategy, consultative selling, executive engagement, managed services, and organizational leadership. It is not a traditional delivery role. Instead, you will partner closely with Account Executives, Solution Leads, presales teams, advisory specialists, OEM partners, and delivery leadership to shape strategic opportunities, architect differentiated security solutions and accelerate pipeline growth across Professional and Managed Security Services.

Your mission

Help organizations evolve from fragmented, tool‑centric security environments into mature, resilient, risk‑driven security programs while building and scaling a world‑class security advisory organization.

What You Will Do
  • Lead & Scale the Cybersecurity & Networking Team
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 security architects, specialists, and advisory consultants focused on strategic pursuits and customer transformation initiatives
  • Foster a high‑performance, customer‑centric culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, technical excellence, and consultative engagement
  • Establish scalable operating rhythms, governance models, reusable assets, and best practices across the security presales organization
  • Drive organizational capability development across security advisory, managed services positioning, executive storytelling, and consultative selling methodologies
  • Partner with sales and executive leadership to align security strategy with broader go‑to‑market and growth objectives
Shape & Win Strategic Opportunities
  • Partner with Account Executives and Solution Leads to identify, qualify, shape, and advance complex cybersecurity opportunities from early‑stage engagement through close
  • Lead consultative discovery workshops to uncover business drivers, operational challenges, regulatory concerns, and transformation priorities
  • Define differentiated solution visions that connect cybersecurity investments to measurable business outcomes including resilience, compliance, operational efficiency, and risk reduction
  • Drive end‑to‑end pursuit leadership across strategic and enterprise‑scale opportunities
  • Improve pipeline quality, deal velocity, and win rates through strong pursuit governance, executive alignment, and solution orchestration
Lead Executive Engagement
  • Establish credibility with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, Boards, Risk Officers, and senior business stakeholders as a trusted cybersecurity advisor
  • Facilitate outcome‑driven conversations focused on business value, resilience, governance, compliance, operational maturity, and long‑term transformation strategy
  • Translate complex technical and security concepts into concise executive narratives aligned to business priorities and investment rationale
  • Deliver compelling presentations, workshops, and transformation roadmaps that differentiate the organization in competitive pursuits
  • Build long‑term executive relationships that expand strategic account influence and customer lifetime value
  • Architect Services‑Led Security Solutions
  • Design integrated solutions combining Professional Services, Managed Security Services, OEM technologies, advisory services, and recurring operational models into cohesive customer offerings
  • Ensure all solutions are technically sound, operationally scalable, commercially viable, and aligned to customer business outcomes
  • Align architecture, service delivery models, governance frameworks, automation, and commercial structures into repeatable offerings that support scale and profitability
Drive Solution Strategy Across
  • SOC / SIEM / SOAR / MDR / XDR
  • Zero Trust and Identity Security
  • SASE and Network Security
  • Cloud Security and CSPM
  • Data Protection and Governance
  • Vulnerability Management and Compliance

  • AI‑driven Security and Security Automation
Orchestrate Cross‑Functional Teams
  • Lead and coordinate solution architects, security engineers, OEM partners, advisory teams, bid teams, and delivery leadership across complex pursuits
  • Drive clarity, accountability, urgency, and execution discipline throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Align technical, operational, commercial, and delivery stakeholders around a unified solution strategy
  • Serve as the senior escalation and decision‑making point for strategic pursuits and complex solution challenges
  • Promote a "One Team" operating model across sales, presales, delivery, and partner ecosystems
Influence Strategy & Commercial Outcomes
  • Shape deal strategy, pricing models, commercial constructs, and managed services positioning to optimize competitiveness, profitability, and customer value
  • Influence recurring revenue growth through managed security services, advisory‑led engagements, and lifecycle expansion opportunities
  • Contribute to portfolio evolution based on market demand, emerging threats, competitive intelligence, and customer requirements
  • Strengthen strategic OEM alignment across Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike, and broader partner ecosystems
  • Help define future‑state security offerings, GTM motions, and transformation strategies aligned to market opportunities and organizational growth objectives
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, managed services, consulting, presales, or technical sales leadership with demonstrated success shaping and closing complex security services engagements
  • Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing technical, advisory, or presales teams
  • Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), Global Systems Integrator (GSI), cloud provider, telecommunications provider, or enterprise security organization
  • Strong expertise in Managed Security Services, SOC operations, and services‑led cybersecurity transformation engagements
