Job summary

Jericho Road Community Health Center is seeking a part-time Safety Team Officer in Buffalo, NY. You will patrol facilities, monitor entrances, secure restricted areas, and lead staff during emergencies. A NYS Security Guard License is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associates or Bachelors in Criminal Justice or risk management preferred.
• Must have NYS Security Guard License or obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to detect signs of intrusion.
• Open and close JRCHC facilities.
• Monitor entrance/exit of employees, visitors, residents, and patients.
• Prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas; manage crowd flow.
• Lead staff in securing areas during emergencies and drills.
• Complete incident reports and escalate as needed.
• Identify risks and respond swiftly; assist questions and direct to team member.
