Job summary

Teacher Retirement System of Texas is seeking a Safety & Safety & Security Operations Associate for a three-year fellowship. The role focuses on operational support, data analysis, and dashboard maintenance to inform leadership decisions.

Onsite work in Austin, TX is required, with collaboration across TRS staff and leadership. The Fellow will assist with business continuity planning, safety initiatives, and documentation, while supporting security and safety programs and various TRS projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Communications, or related field awarded within the last 12 months.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience with data analysis, dashboards, and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general office support for S&S staff and management, including correspondence, forms and documentation.
• Develop and maintain S&S administrative and operating procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with S&S staff to document safety, security and risk management processes and update manuals.
• Maintain PowerBI dashboards for trend analysis and executive insight.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders.
• Support Business Continuity Planning and COOP updates.
