Cranbrook Educational Community is seeking a Security and Safety Officer for the 3rd shift to patrol the Bloomfield Hills campus and respond to emergencies. The role includes vehicle and foot patrols, unlock/lock duties, and traffic control. A high school diploma or GED is required with 1 year of security-related experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid/AED training or completion within 30 days of hire is required. Michigan driver’s license and basic computer skills (Word/Excel) are expected.

The Security and Safety Officer promotes and provides general security and safety for Cranbrook Educational Community. This position will continually patrol Cranbrook Campus by both vehicle and foot while responding to calls for assistance, performing shift specific unlocks and lockups, traffic control, reporting safety and security concerns or hazards, and responding to all campus emergencies. Security Officers deter criminal acts against property, vehicles, residents, students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Cranbrook Educational Community.
