Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field; combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures.
• Coordinate Center’s safety policies with Department of Labor, Corporate Office and Job Corps policies.
• Act as liaison between Center and federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and conduct investigations.
• Coordinate and oversee search and seizure activities; regulate entry/exit and conduct of persons seeking access to the Center.
• Ensure handling, securing and timely disposal of all illegal drugs and weapons per state/local law.
• Ensure civil rights of students and staff are not violated; ensure compliance with DOL, Center and legal guidelines.
