Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in security or youth programs is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and public speaking ability.
• Proficient computer skills including internet, email, and standard office software.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and obtain a commercial driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, oversee and integrate safety and security programs for the Center.
• Enforce laws, rules and policies within authority.
• Foot patrol assigned areas and monitor for disturbances, hazards and security issues.
• Assist visitors, students and staff; provide transportation as directed.
• Complete accident reports and other required documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection and training of security cadets.
• Conduct daily security briefings and ensure equipment maintenance.
