Job summary

Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program invites students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world software development. You will build security-focused solutions and gain hands-on experience while collaborating with teams and mentors across the firm.

The paid summer internship runs May/June 2027, offering extensive training, exposure to the software life cycle, and opportunities to impact clients and investors through meaningful assignments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security or related field.
• Strong interest in web, mobile, and/or application development.
• GPA of 3.0+ preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or leadership aspirations.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build high-impact solutions that enable Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investors.
• Support achieving client outcomes and giving investors the best chance at investment success.
• Gain hands-on experience in software development and practice Agile & LEAN methodologies.
