Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program offers an immersive, hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading investment firms. As an Analyst track participant, you’ll drive security strategies to protect investors and gain real-world exposure to security governance and risk management.

You’ll receive extensive training, mentorship from professionals, and opportunities to apply classroom knowledge through Agile & LEAN practices on meaningful assignments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/IST/IT or related security field.
• Strong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations.
• Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As part of the Analyst track, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping Vanguard safe day in and day out Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program is an immersive, hands‐on experience at one of the world’s leading investment firms. Extensive training, real-world experience, hands‐on opportunities and mentorship from professionals will all aid in broadening your technical expertise. You’ll receive exposure to the software life cycle and positively impact our clients through exciting assignments. Make it count!

In this internship you will:

• Drive security strategies for Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investors

• Support achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment success

What it takes

• In pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required

• Strong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations

• Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team‑oriented environment
