Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Mobile Patrol duties at a commercial real estate site. Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Driving Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading zones, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.


• Document patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
