Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an armed Security Response Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors. The role collaborates with the security team and hospital personnel to maintain a safe environment, de-escalate conflicts, and act as the hospital's first responder.
The position requires a valid Louisiana license, a high school diploma, and prior security or military experience. Shifts are 12 hours, with day/night rotation, and pay ranges from $18.00 to $26.00 per hour

The armed Security Response Officer works collaboratively with security team and hospital staff to provide a safe environment for our stakeholders. Proactively addresses and de-escalates tense situations and/or conflict. Responds to requests for security assistance and works with law enforcement as needed. Enforces security policies and procedures of the hospital. Investigates incidents and prepares written reports. Provides security-related training and patrols the premises as needed. The primary role and responsibility will be that of the hospital's "first responder" capability. Will need to maintain certification with both lethal and non-lethal response capabilities as well as semiannual physical readiness testing and detention techniques.
12 hour shifts
SROs work both shifts rotating Days and Nights

$18.00 - $26.00; based on work experience
