Ochsner Health is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of patients, guests, and employees. The role involves enforcing safety policies, conducting inspections, and responding to emergencies. Candidates must have a High School diploma, relevant experience, and certifications such as Basic Life Support. This job provides security for patients, guests, and employees as assigned, enforces company policies and procedures, and performs duties that ensure the security of all in a courteous and professional manner.

Required - High School diploma or equivalent
Required - 1 year of experience in Security, law enforcement, or military
Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Valid driver’s license in the state of practice and a clean DMV report
Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), and firearms training
International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire/promotion
