Job summary

CCR-L seeks a Security Officer to assist in protecting facilities and materials. You will regulate access, patrol areas, and respond to alarms, with overtime on request.

Responsibilities include badge control, incident reporting, and coordination with Security Manager and local authorities as needed. Requires high school diploma, 1+ year experience, and ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of work experience.
• Ability to use a computer and associated software.
• Ability to cover facility and conduct security rounds; respond to alarms quickly.
• Ability to lift packages weighing 10 pounds.
• English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must work different shifts and overtime on short notice.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in protecting structures, property, and materials; regulate movement of personnel.
• Patrol building interior and exterior; check access badges; escort personnel as needed.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies; coordinate with authorities as required.
• Document events, write shift reports, and submit required documentation.
• Assist with unloading/loading and relocation of items within the facility.
