Adams and Associates is hiring a CPP Instructor for the Delaware Valley Job Corps Center in Callicoon, NY. The role focuses on delivering classroom and hands-on instruction in security and safety fields as part of the Career Preparation Program, beginning students' Job Corps journey.

You will develop individual achievement plans, monitor progress, and support student success through job-readiness activities and practical skill development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of teaching or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified, licensed, or accredited in the state of the center, or accredited by a relevant trade organization.
• For non-traditional programs, certification through a union or trade organization may be required.
• Experience in Security, Safety, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Military or Emergency Services preferred.
• Ability to teach and engage young adults from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and hands-on instruction in Security & Safety-related skills.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the training curriculum.
• Teach workplace safety practices, security procedures, and professional conduct.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive classroom and training environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback, coaching, and additional instruction as needed.
• Maintain attendance, progress, and training records.
