Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. at the Delaware Valley Job Corps Center in Callicoon, NY, is hiring a CPP Instructor to provide instruction and training to students starting their Job Corps journey.

The role focuses on developing achievement plans and monitoring progress to ensure early retention and success in the program. You will conduct classrooms, assess readiness for CDP transition, provide counseling, coordinate pre-arrival activities, and maintain records while upholding standards and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and insurability requirements.
• Experience in group facilitation or teaching preferred.
• Job Corps experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct CPP students, evaluate progress, and provide remedial support.
• Assess readiness for transition to CDP and provide counseling.
• Coordinate pre-arrival activities and center tours.
• Maintain accurate student records per policies.
• Mentor students and uphold Career Success Standards.
• Ensure a safe, organized learning environment and collaborate with departments.
• Produce timely work and maintain attendance and productivity.
• Identify problems and contribute to program improvement.
