Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver security system installations that meet customer requirements, code standards, and contractual obligations—on time and within budget.

You will lead project activities, manage resources, budgets, and stakeholders, while supporting field technicians and maintaining margins. This role is based in Charleston, SC and offers the company's total rewards package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, networking, and burglar alarm systems.
• 2-3 years project management experience preferred.
• Advanced communication/interpersonal skills; able to communicate with customers, sales and operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver security system installations on time and within budget.
• Identify resources, manage budgets/forecasts, select materials, equipment, staff, and contractors.
• Lead meetings and report project status to stakeholders.
• Support operations to maintain/improve project margins and assist field technicians with design inquiries.
• Visit job sites to verify progress and ensure alignment with the scope of work.
• Close out projects upon completion and verify scope satisfaction with customers.
