Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist for a mid-shift role in Colorado Springs. You will implement and manage security programs to protect classified information, personnel, and facilities, providing SME guidance across multiple security disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in industrial security, an active Secret clearance, and experience handling DISS/NISS/NBIS systems plus DoD requirements. On-site position with mid-shift hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 4+ years in industrial security.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Experience as FSO/AFSO/CPSO or similar role.
• Knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and DoD baselines.
• Strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with DISS, NISS, NBIS and government systems.
• Conduct security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and foreign travel briefings.
• Manage facility access controls, badges, visits, and escorting visitors.
• Maintain chain of custody for classified materials and dispatch classified transmittals.
