Job summary

Amentum is seeking an individual to support the FBI Security Program, performing data checks, administrative tasks, and analytical assessments in a traditional office setting. The role requires a Top Secret clearance and an Associate’s degree, with strong Microsoft Office proficiency and customer service skills.

Responsibilities include logs, audits, and coordinating with FBI divisions, plus preparing written analyses and briefings.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Associate’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience performing routine office administrative support functions.
• Ability to critically review investigative material to discern security vulnerabilities.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Internet research/open-source checks.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and interprets database checks and credit reports.
• Performs data entry.
• Supports FBI Security Program administration including logs, audits, and briefs.
• Provides support, analysis, and research into complex security problems.
• Advises supervisor on potentially controversial matters.
• Initiates FBI indices checks and arrest record checks.
• Recommends polygraph examinations as needed.
• Prepares formal written analyses of security concerns and resolutions.
• Maintains liaison with FBIHQ Divisions and other agencies.
• Coordinates with FBI components to surface and resolve issues.
• Recommends new methods for passing/affirming clearances including SCI/Regulations.
• Performs security assessment investigations and provides recommendations.
• Reviews requests for investigations concerning security clearances.
• Prepares detailed analyses of information developed and recommended actions.
• Assists with briefings/debriefings of cases.
• Maintains logs and updates workflow tracking.
• Provides customer service and scheduling.
