Job summary

Leonardo DRS seeks a full-time on-site Security Manager in Germantown, MD to oversee the facility’s security program under NISPOM/DCSA. You will advise senior leadership on physical and proxy security, and ensure compliant security policies, procedures, and training across the site.

Responsibilities include managing badges, visits, and personnel clearances, supporting RMF accreditation, and maintaining security documentation and SOPs. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of FSO experience; 3 additional years may substitute.
• ISP certification from NCMS within 2 years of start date.
• Working knowledge of NISPOM and related directives.
• Ability to develop and implement security policy and procedures.
• Strong communication with peers, customers, and executives.
• Familiarity with FOCI mitigation and Proxy Agreement management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and report on all security aspects of the facility under NISPOM and DCSA mandates.
• Serve as primary advisor to Site VP/GM on physical and proxy security compliance.
• Maintain security documentation, training records, and annual briefings.
• Manage visits, badgeing, and personnel security clearances (JPAS/DISS).
• Support RMF info system accreditation and related audits as required.
• Ensure OPSEC, SOPs, EAPs, and risk analyses meet gov't and customer standards.
• Coordinate with DRS Security for policy alignment and compliance reviews.
