Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Frederick, MD seeks a seasoned Program Manager to oversee defense development programs and projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage cost, schedule and performance, and interface with customers and stakeholders on contract matters from kickoff to close.

The role requires 5+ years of program management experience in defense, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate complex bids and proposals while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant program management experience in DoD/defense.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily execution of contract requirements to meet cost, schedule and performance goals.
• Lead meetings and the integrated product team from kick-off through project close.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers on contract matters and bids/proposals.
• Support bid and proposal activities; ensure RFP requirements are met in bids.
• Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts and monitor budgets.
