Job Description

As a Security Professional - Warehouse Screener in Smithfield, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a SCREENER in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those on site. Guided by our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, you will work collaboratively with your team, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day TimeSat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Document and report security-related incidents and unusual activities according to established protocols.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and support first responders as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
