As a **Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol** in **Wayne, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This position primarily involves driving throughout the premises. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. **Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

+ Help to deter unwanted activity through visible presence and attentive patrols.

+ Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.

+ Assist visitors and staff with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ This is primarily a driving post and prior experience in driving roles is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
