Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrols in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming environment by responding promptly to concerns and supporting a culture of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Pay Rate: $17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day TimeMon 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially within financial institutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
