Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Location Patrol in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we work together with integrity to put people first in every situation.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
• Participate in emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
