As a **Security Professional – Patrol Unarmed** in **Chapel Hill, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Fri08:00 PM - 08:00 AM

Sat08:00 PM - 08:00 AM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

+ Interact with visitors, students, and staff in a professional manner, offering assistance and information as needed.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to site protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.

+ Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ This is primarily a driving post and prior experience in similar roles is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
